Silly Simon...

"You mean I'm not supposed to be grabbing this out of your hand and running off with it? Oooops."

Such a nutterbutter.

Unfortunately, I really don't like how his toe appears to be healing- which is, it's not. :/ Vet comes back next week to take a peek at it, along with oh, five other animals in the house. I'm just going to hand him my paycheck and call it even. ;)

Oooh, sorry to hear the toe is still bad. It's very hard to get things healed with how active our corgis are! Hope your vet finds a solution.

What a hoot he is. I still have your Christmas card with Simon's picture on my TV. What a cutie. I also still have the drawing you did of the Lyberty Gang on the envelope. It is extra special since we lost our Rudy!

Was he showing with a broken toe? Poor Simon!! I would be he is happy to be done with that...

Oh gosh no!

No way, no how, no showing with a broken toe. It's still all wrapped up most of the time to keep it steady, but the poor guy ended up getting a rub-infection from the tape. :( So now it's tape on during the day to stablize it and off at night.

I honestly don't think he's noticed since the first day that cost me so much, haha. He'd love to go flying off the deck.

Caleb went, and Simon stayed home with Dad and watched the Vikings and Jets both lose, which made his mom sad. XD

Sorry, was thinking Monroe, and guess I was thinking about a prior foot thing. Anyway, best wishes with the big lug at the vet. I hope they can figure it out. Poor baby.

Oh gosh, no worries! I was at Rose City with Caleb, and usually where one goes there's the other. ;) Not this time though. Man, I sat and watched Jumpers and Weaves for a bit. I think Simon would have a blast doing that! When that toe's healed, of course.

The biggest problem is he is not a sit around do nothing dog. In the four weeks he's been down he's gained a pound and I've cut him back on food seriously, and he's not happy about it. If there's an apocalypse, I know which dog to farm, haaha. ;) mmm, corgi loaf!

Casting is not looking like a good idea with him, seeing how bad he reacted to the tape, and I was keeping that dry and clean. Pinning too, but we'll go to the specialist for that, and see what they offer.

Right now I got uh, well, dumped is I guess an appropriate word - with three elderly cats. Not so cool, but these guys need some serious medical care pronto, and my Arab is going in for a back issue.

Sigh. Like I said, bye bye paycheck!

Aw, thanks Lyberty. <3 I was so sad to hear about Rudy. :( Si is a hoot, that's for sure!
