City Sniffer...

Well, my mom's been out visiting for the last two weeks, so it's been a lot of fun. :) We took her back to the airport today, and since we were on the city side, I begged to stop and get some photos using some different backdrops other than my yard or the woods, hahaha. ;) Actually, being in the city makes me really appreciate the boys more and more -- both of them handled themselves wonderfully with kids running and people wanting to pet and hug them. Of course, everyone has to ask me what mix they are and when they find out they're not a mix, there's a fifteen minute discussion about both breeds of Corgi, haha. I really need to grab a handful of the brochures from the club one of these days. Or photocopy mine - be way easier to hand out, but I guess not as personable...

Caleb wouldn't be happy though if I did that; everyone pets him for those fifteen minutes. ;) He likes that way too much.

So, without further ado, pictures.

Simon at the International Fountain... have to appreciate a dog who minds his own business while everything's going on around him.

The boys on the stairs...

Apparently, carnivals have a bias agaist Corgis. Simon protests. :(

Been a good week -- man, though, wish I could have gone to Nationals. I lived vicariously through the blogs. ;) Maybe next year!

I know. It is fun to see them in these situations; I so appreciate that he's pretty much bomb proof and stays where I ask him - these city shots are super fun.

Janet -- did they? O.o

I-- I had no idea...

I figured I'd not won a thing because I didn't hear anything from anyone and didn't see results. I didn't know. Whoa, seriously?

I'm -- I'm floored. There were some heavy hitting absolutely wonderful photographers there, I've seen some of their photos popping up on the blogs.

Wow. Thank you, thank you so much for telling me... wow. <3 Now my ears are burning, hahah.

I really wish I could have gone; I would have loved to cheer all my blog-friends on.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THE PICS! Glad to hear that somebody else (besides me!) gets the question "What mix is he?" Happens every time we are out.

*laughs* Well, what I know now is that I won two firsts, a second, and a third. :D I am totally over the moon about that!

Annnnd that's all I know! *laughs* Not what photos or categories or anything else.

How cool though! :D I'll let you know when I find out, though. Are you going to be going to Handling class this Wed, do you think?

Yes, I will be there. I will likely go with just one of the dogs this time...6:30.
Congrats on the photos. No surprise here ;o)

Congratulations on your wins! You get such great shots and Simon is truly amazing. He has the coolest crazy eyes when he is really pleased with his toys....but then you know that already....and those action shots. Wow!

I just wanted you to know that I read your blog last night and looking at your beautiful photos made my night of insomnia pass in a most enjoyable and amusing way. Thank you!

We have a new Cardi puppy and my photos so far are mostly blurred, unless she is asleep. I'm a pro at cute sleeping puppy. :) But you inspire me to take more.

Aw, thanks Kim. :) These guys just make me smile, and Simon's always got crazy eye for ball and cake. ;)

I hope you get to get some sleep soon - ugh, insomnia... that's just so not fun. Been there, done that, want to not do it.

I hope the puppy behaves so that you can get some soon. :) Hahah, aw, cute sleeping puppy is always a great shot! ;) Better have some shots up of cute sleeping puppy!

Sigh, I really do want another puppy soon. I'm a glutton for punishment, I guess. XD
